Hi, I'm Dave, and I'm a Grief Educator
I have a passion for educating people about grief and helping come alongside them on their grief journey. I have skin in the game having lost my five year old daughter to a brain tumor. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish I could offer you a comforting hug. I'm a lifelong learner and earned a doctorate degree from Biola University, two master’s degrees, and a bachelor’s degree.

why i wrote this book
I penned this book out of a deep calling and profound sense of purpose.
My goal is to help individuals traverse the difficult path of grief, extending a compassionate hand to those in mourning. I have a passion to help people find their smile again after loss. That's why I wrote this book.
Everybody grieves differently but what we all have in common is the need to have our grief witnessed. We need someone to be fully present to our loss without offering a silver lining.
When we see sadness reflected in the eyes of another, we realize our grief matters and we begin to believe we will survive and that a hope-filled future is possible. Life will never be the same but it can be really good. Sign up for the book launch and your free eBook below.
